Translation Memory Tools

For larger projects or assignments with repetitive content the use of translation memory programs (e.g. Trados, Wordfast, etc.) is useful. These applications help create a translation database to ensure terminology consistency and to prevent retranslation of already translated text in follow-up projects. Another advantage: The reuse of sentences, sentence fragments, and terminology in future projects is cost-effective and reduces the work load.
